PRocon, the go-to community experience for public relations, marketing, media, and communications professionals, is excited to announce the 2026 PRocon Board.

The continuation of this Board reflects PRocon’s unwavering commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration as we gear up for something truly special: our 5th anniversary. This year’s board will lead the coordination our first-ever multi-city tour, bringing the PRocon experience to more markets and further convene the brilliant minds shaping the future of our industry.

Together, the 2026 PRo Board is a powerhouse collective — diverse in expertise, unified in purpose and ready to make this the most exciting year in PRocon history.

Meet the Board

Keisha Bradley — Founder and Chair

Keisha Brewer is a strategic communications expert and the CEO of The PR Alliance LLC, a full-service public relations agency. Her career includes roles as a news writer and reporter for the Daily Times Delmarva Media Group, an advertising specialist for Sinclair Broadcast Group—supporting FOX News and MYTV—and a communications specialist and event planner for Fortune 500 companies. Keisha has also served as a social media strategist for government agencies. For PRocon, Keisha serves as the primary leader for the conference and community, building off of the vision that first came to light in 2022 at PRocon’s inaugural conference.

Fatou B. Drammeh — Vice Chair

Fatou B. Drammeh is a PR & strategic communications professional with a passion for storytelling, cultivating community, and amplifying culture through digital channels and in-person experiences. Skilled in media relations, brand strategy, digital communications and more, Fatou has lent her talents to businesses across industries, including government agencies, media companies, consumer brands, and global financial institutions. Since PRocon's founding in 2022, Fatou has played an instrumental role in its brand identity, launch, and continued growth. She continues to work in close collaboration with the founder, helping to develop and carry out the vision for the community and conference.

Kourtney Janeau — Director, Communications and Head of PR

Kourtney Janeau, M.M.C., is a PR and strategic communications professional with a passion for storytelling, community building, and amplifying culture through media and experiential moments. Skilled in media relations, brand strategy, and communications, she has worked with clients including Google, Indeed, PepsiCo, and Nextdoor, securing placements in outlets such as Forbes, Black Enterprise, AfroTech, and ESSENCE.

As the founder of Keaux Kreative, a creative communications consultancy, Kourtney leads with a vision rooted in connection and impact. For PRocon, she serves as Director of Communications and Head of PR, driving strategic messaging, media visibility, and brand growth for a thriving community of communications professionals.

Hakeem Hooker — Director, Financial Strategy

Hakeem Hooker is a financial service specialist at Overflow Capital, where he helps millennial parents and business owners work toward financial independence. In 2024, he assisted over 60 families in achieving their financial goals. For PRocon, Hakeem conducts financial oversight for the conference and community while ensuring smooth operations of all internal and external systems.

Tiana Williams Elliott — Director, Strategic Partnerships

Tiana Williams Elliott brings extensive experience in sponsorship management and strategic partnerships from her experience in fundraising at Howard University. Her expertise lies in developing and nurturing relationships that drive organizational growth and community impact. As director of strategic partnerships, Tiana connects PRocon with like-minded and purpose-aligned brands to create exciting experiences and offerings for PRocon community members.

Mariam Sarr — Manager, Events & Experiences

Mariam Sarr is a communications and customer insights professional who helps organizations better understand their audiences and shape messaging that resonates. As a Director of Customer Insights, she works across teams to bring clarity to complex data, making space for more human-centered storytelling. With a background in CX and analytics, Mariam is especially passionate about building bridges between what people say, feel, and need, and how brands respond. She is a Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) and a believer in the power of thoughtful, inclusive communication. In her role as events & experiences manager, Mariam is responsible for curating a dynamic and engaging experience for attendees of all PRocon events.

Ja'Seph Smith — Manager, Communications & Digital Community

Ja’Seph Smith is a communications and organizational strategy professional who has always been fascinated by what makes people click — literally and figuratively. That curiosity shapes everything she creates, from branded decks and newsletters to content campaigns that spark real community engagement. Whether she’s streamlining how an organization runs or shaping the stories it tells, Ja’Seph brings the same intentionality to operations as she does to communications. Passionate about the world of sports PR, she is on a mission to amplify athlete and executive visibility through narratives that build credibility, culture, and connection. She is an active member of WISE DC and Women Leaders in Sports; and is thrilled to bring her energy and strategic eye to the PRocon community.

Jazmin Slaughter — Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Jazmin Slaughter is a dot connector and storyteller with nearly a decade of experience driving alignment across people, industries, and ideas. She has led major campaigns, built strong partnerships, and shaped public-facing strategies that help organizations engage with clarity and purpose. With strengths in public relations, community engagement, and strategic partnerships, she consistently turns needs into practical strategies grounded in solid execution. She brings an inviting presence to relationship-building, problem-solving, and community-facing roles. Servant leadership is a priority as she currently serves as President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Central PA Chapter, as a strategic partnerships manager at PRocon, and as a board member of Thrive Housing Services.

Miya Ingram — Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships

Miya Ingram is a strategic communications professional and creative leader with experience in strategy, storytelling, stakeholder alignment, and analytics to ensure digital communications advance broader organizational objectives. Her work sits at the intersection of strategy and creativity — combining data-informed decision-making with innovative storytelling to drive engagement and impact. In addition to her professional role, Miya is pursuing a dual master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Communication at Johns Hopkins University, further strengthening her expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational influence. She is passionate about empowering professionals to think critically about communication, build intentional networks, and lead with both structure and creativity.
